McClary Stockyards specializes in raising livestock, Heifer Raising, and Livestock Hauling. It sells beef, feeders, and equipment. McClary Stockyards was founded in 1959 by Art and Marj McClary. Art McClary became involved in the livestock industry in 1948 as a partner of Tom Baird with Baird and Company, which operated out of the old BC Livestock yard at the foot of Fraser St. in Vancouver. In 1959 Art established his own business also on Fraser St. naming it McClary Stockyards. It operated out of that location until 1970 when he moved his business to its present location of Abbotsford B.C. The Business is still owned and operated by the McClary Family.
