CAUTION. This clinic gave my son Nitrous Oxide and conducted major dental surgery (non-emergency) without my knowledge or consent. BEWARE- they are more than happy to overcharge you and do unnecessary procedures, rather than do simple checks like ask for the other parent's details for the child's file and ask for legal document's confirming guardianship & medical and dental decision-making.
Had the worst experience at the Burnaby office this passed week we had 2 appointments for a check up and to fix cavities for both my daughters. as soon as I arrived both times I picked up bad vibes both times and didnt like the looks and attitude I recieved by both staff and Dr. Diya. Im no longer coming to this office for appointments and asked to be moved to a new location due to the bad experience here
Maybe we got a bum dentist (Dr. Chander), but for a referred PEDIATRIC dentist, he spent only 1 minute checking our son, and offered no treatment plans that actually involved him having to work with a child not given some sort of sedative (the clinic only works with laughing gas; for general anesthesia, you will be referred to yet another "specialist"). We spent 10 minutes with the manager talking payment plans. They have nice facilities and front-desk staff, but that is paid for by you!
It’s always a challenge when come to dental care with your children. Their habits are hard to control. As a parent all you can do is scheduling their regular appointments. I also did the same and scheduled appointment with Dr. Kanani. He is one of the best doctors I have met.
My son always get scared while going to dentists, but with Dr. Karim's patience and collaboration, we were easily able to get his cavity fixed. Thank you so much.
Very happy, feels very comfortable and welcome. I just went to the office for my second visit and the Doctor and staff are always wonderful. The procedure was very quick and painless and very family friendly.
My 14 months old son went there for a regular check with his teeth. It was just a 5 mins check but end up I was paying $73 even he got 80% of the insurance covered. And the receipt only shows how much I need to pay for each service but not the total charge before the insurance. Overall I think I got overcharged.
