Bukhara Grill welcomes you to their establishment. They are open nightly all week and are conveniently reachable by car. The neighboring location is notable for its restaurants. You can have your dish simply delivered at home.
bad service. advertised as "all you can eat" but owner will limit it to 2 meat dishes and ACTUALLY WATCHING YOU. the guy needs to understand he's in Canada.
The quality is OK but psychologically draining. I wouldn't come back.
Passed by a few times and wanted to do take out. Decided to give it a go with the girlfriend. All I can say is WOW. Was recommended Marinated Lamb chops which was served on a sizzling plate, we both devoured it. The shrimp biryani was also great along with the Chicken Boona was very flavorful and a spicy kick . To finish of with their delicious signature Kulfi which was a great end to the meal along with the Masala Tea, Tea took time to prepare but was well worth the wait, The staff were very friendly and courteous overall nice ambience.
After finding out that dinner is a la carte, I wasn't gonna go. After all, how can you possibly compete with a $8.99 buffet? However, I decided to give it a try after seeing the menu that was posted in the window. Prices are very reasonable!
Promptly after being seated, pappadums arrived at the table with 2 sauces, a mint chutney and a sweet syrup, perhaps tamarind based. Mint chutney was very fresh tasting...with a kick! After that app, I had a feeling that this was gonna be a good dining experience.
I ordered the Chicken Bhoona, $11.99 and it came with a naan. It tasted very similar to other Chicken Jalfrezi dishes that I had in the past. The dish itself was nicely spiced, with green+red chillis, some tomatoes, and garnished with fresh bell peppers+julienned ginger. Very good and not watered-down for Whitey!
The interior is newly renovated and nicely decorated in an upper-scale fashion. Very clean, even the washrooms.
The service was very friendly and glasses were filled regularly with water. (Not sure why other wait-staff can't get this simple task down!) I engaged the server in conversation and found out that the chef is from Nepal, but has been a chef at a 5-star hotel in a restaurant since he was 18yo.
Lunch buffet is $8.99/person. Google for a buy-1-get-2nd 50% coupon. As per the server, the selection sounds like there is something for everyone, including vegetarians and people who like sweets!
Highly recommended for people who looking to dine at better quality Indian restaurants, but don't necessarily want to pay the $$!
