We were absolutely craving Thai cuisine - and we were not disappointed! This is the best Thai food we've had in years - superb, individual flavours, charming atmosphere, very pleasant service - delightful experience; will be rushing back with friends and family! :)
What a nice and cosy restaurant ! We had different dishes. The vegetarian vegetable dish (No. 65) in particular, was delicious. Each dish was decorated nicely. The house-red wine was excellent, and the service very good. We felt really spoilt.
Food was ok. Portion was really good (Filled me up). Service was excellent. One dish was not that good. All I remember it had lots of cabbage. It was like a cabbage fest.
We ordered this as take-out for a group of three, each of us having one of the main dishes (with me having the Satay along with my Mango Salad:-)). I've been to this restaurant many times for dinner, and I consider it to be hands-down the best Thai I've found in Ottawa (and I've been to most of them). I had some concerns because of the others comments I've seen here, about the size of the dishes for take-out. It turns out those concerns were unfounded - the take-out dishes were absolutely comparable to the eat-in dishes both in quality and quantity. I would have no hesitation in doing this again, and the other two participants agree without reservation. This place is on our permanent list for workday lunch. It would be nice if they would do lunchtime delivery, but on the other hand, it is nice to get out of the office for a bit.
So great! This is second time I went there~~~~ great food and excellent service!

Chefs at Aiyara honour the Thai tradition of vegetable carving by adding intricate, artistic touches to their dishes. Elephants are another cultural symbol of Thailand featured throughout the decor and incorporated into the meals. Don’t be surprised to find edible elephant sculptures, pineapple plates and coconut bowls served with your meal. Vegetarians will be happy to know there is an entire menu dedicated to veggie options.
