OM Restaurant & Bar does Indian and Tibetan food really well. There are plenty of familiar dishes to fall back on, if you don’t know if you’ll like Tibetan food, and you can try one or two new things out in the meantime, like the Jasha Momo, which is a steamed chicken dumpling.
A fusion eatery with some truly delicious food, head here if you’re craving Indian or Tibetan cuisine. The menu offers about 80 exotic a-la-carte dishes including tandoori sizzlers, momos, curries and biryanis. The cozy back patio is an idyllic spot to dine on fresh naan bread during the summer.
If you think that Indian cuisine has already fused with all the other cultures out there, you would be almost right. Om offers Indian and Tibetan fusion with all the beauty and flavour of each culture. Have a gyuma appetizer before your butter chicken and finish off with their famous jasha momo (a steamed chicken dumpling). It’s also worth noting that this restaurant was the winner of the 2013 Reader’s Choice Award in The Parkdale Villager.
