Peach Garden is a rapidly growing chain of Vietnamese/Thai restaurants. The menu is huge with many choices from both cuisines. So far I've tried only the Vietnamese side of the menu but if that is any indication of the quality of the Thai food I can hardly wait.
My favourite Vietnamese dish is the pho with 3 types of grilled meat. The meat is beef, pork and chicken. Being done on the gril makes for a nice change from the usual beef pho. The soup is served steaming hot with the meat on a separate plate accompanied by lots of fresh garnishes. For the chilliheads agmonst us, red chillies are served up with a smile. The other Vietnamese dishes are as good, which puts me in a quandry over which is my favourite pho facility. (Number one in Brampton is Pho Peter on Kennedy).
The decor is a bit better than most Vietnamese eateries and along with good service makes for a very pleasant dining experience.
Highly recommmended.Read more

I recently read about Panino Cappuccino in the Toronto Sun. There was an article talking about this "hidden gem". I would have never expected such a cute Italian restaurant to have been in the small Weston rd. plaza I pass by every day. Well kudos to the author because they were totally right! I decided to give it a try! I took my girlfirend one Friday night & the place was packed! We were however greeted right away and scored a corner booth! We shared the Italian Springs Rolls (UNREAL!) to start. I had the penne alla vodka and my friend had the seabass which was the special for the night. The food was exceptionally good and definately impressed my friend and I. The servers were also great & the atmosphere was very cozy. On our way out we even had the opportunity to meet one of the brothers/owners 'Fabio' who was also very nice. Can't wait to go back for more yummy spring rolls!Read more
