Since 1988, Ed Williams Mens Wear has remained an independent family-owned operation striving to make shopping for formal and casual menswear an easy proposition. Be it suits, jeans or accessories, Ed Williams offers a wide selection of clothing by popular, brand-name makers as well as distinctive, independent designers. Located in Crowfoot Village, the shop's local clientele enjoy not having to go downtown for quality menswear, while it's a destination shop for guys who like its laid-back atmosphere.

After working for years in the clothing business, Ed Williams opened his eponymous shop with the intention of having a relaxed, enjoyable environment where the customers were friends. He didn’t want staff to compete to sell customers things they didn’t need, one of the reasons a typical guy hates shopping for clothes.

According to Ed’s son Lowell Williams, “More and more, guys enjoy the shopping experience, but often we have guys who are dragged in by their wives or girlfriends who make them buy new clothes. We make it as painless as possible.” Lowell, who grew up with the family business, says the Ed Williams Mens Wear experience comes down to friendly, helpful staff giving honest, knowledgeable advice on what looks good.
