Gordon and Ann Liske, founders of Fifendekelwith an idea to create a milkshake made the old fashioned way, with real milk and real ice cream. Ann began baking the finest apple pies to compliment the ice cream.
It's tough to rate. The first time I would have given a 5* hands down. Nice thick sandwich, lots of veggies, good service. The second time I got the loaf end and an apology, no question wether it was okay, but at least an apology 3*. Today, I got grumpy servers/service and a thin sandwich with very little on the veggies. Not even close to the $7.90 I paid 1*. Consistency is such a key. I'll try one more time and give my next review, hopefully not my last...
The ladys at Fife N' Dekel were very fast and very organized, good place to go for a quick lunch and its not greasy take out food. they have very good sandwich's.
You can find a classic tried-and-true tuna salad sandwich at Fife N' Dekel. Made with fresh bread and with an array of sandwich toppings to choose from, dress this sandwich whatever way you want. This place is perfect for those looking for an on-the-go meal, as the service is fast.
They have more than a dozen varieties and are reasonably priced (whether you order a slice or a whole pie ... we won’t judge!). There’s something about blending traditional pie flavours with sour cream that gives it that je ne sais quoi. Sour cream strawberry rhubarb or sour cream blueberry are both phenomenal. Try the pecan pie for something a little extra sweet.
