Squamish Wood Fuel Supply Ltd

Company was very easy to deal with. They delivered on time and proper amount. Wood product was exactly as advertised and good quality. I'd rather deal with this company that brings a clear unit of measurement (proper cord) than some guy in a pickup truck, you have no idea how much you're really getting until you stack it all up). I'm perplexed by the poor reviews x 2, we were very satisfied with the product and the company and will be ordering from Squamish again.

Wood was not cure...

Wood was not cured or dry at all. It was extremely difficult to light and basically didn't burn, even with lots of attempts. Wood was so wet it crackled. I tried to contact company to ask if the wood was cured, but no response whatsoever. I am very disappointed as now I obviously have to store this wood for a year or so before I can use it. I would not recommend.

Terrible firewood.

I don't know why but I ordered from here twice, both times I ordered the expensive 'kiln dried' stuff, (actually dried in an old RV for a while) and the both times it was wet and FILTHY, so wet that you could hear it sizzle and would take an age to burn. The first time I complained and they said it was probably the bottom of the pile and more would be delivered FOC - this never arrived. The second time, the same problem with the added bonus that the pieces were all different awkward sizes with many just too small and splintered and therefore unusable so just ended up being thrown away, the photo I uploaded says it all.
