Sun Hang Do was developed from ancient Korean traditions and it has been merged into the martial arts of today's world. It is the art of perfect balance born from the union of two dynamic opposites, the hardness of steel and the softness of water.
I was fortunate enough to have studied martial arts growing up, and used it as an aid to other sports like hockey...it helped me with agility, concentration and mental awareness, but nothing like what you see today with SUN HANG DO. SUN HANG DO promotes MUCH more than just martial arts, it's a LIFESTYE that incorporates a Family/Group/Team type of atmosphere (like a big buddy or MENTOR system involving toddlers to older adults) and it's progression makes it comfortable and affordable...Many martial arts programs or private schools, promote a basic, too generalized, type of strategy and format.
