Worst Experience Ever! The color was good but this was by far the worst hair cut I have ever experienced! The stylist was obviously inexperienced at cutting hair like mine, although she said that she had worked with my texture before and knew the usual pitfalls. I presented the stylist with a photo and we discussed how long I wanted it kept. Now I'm left with a bowl cut and not enough hair to even have it fixed. I'm beyond disappointed.
I absolutely love my experience at this salon every time I go. From the moment I walk into the doors I feel inspired and excited by the surroundings and hair artists. It is obvious the hair salon artists are up to date with all the newest techniques, styles and products and in turn they educate me with all my questions. I love the cup of loose tea and chocolate goodies they give me, feels like a spa day at the salon with all the good company, pampering, goodies and fresh new look I depart with
Very unpleased with my experience here. I went to Loyal 2, and came out crying. The stylist was very aggressive with my hair even after I told her multiple times I have a sensitive scalp and fragile hair. She assured me no problem - but clearly it was. After she finished brushing my hair 2 massive hair ball were on the ground- I don't lose that much hair in a month! I went in to correct damage and she only made it worse! On top of that I asked for my hair to be dyed medium brown, but it's black!
So I thought for awhile about writting this reveiw and finally I decided why not, I just moved from Calgary about a month ago I had beautiful blonde hair nice healthy after growing it for two years I have naturally dirty blonde hair it's really easy to color blonde so I figured it won't be hard to find someone compared to my amazing stylist in Calgary, I went to loyal and well awe man after requesting someone excellent with blonde I unfortunate got someone who I think maybe needs to get a bit more education on color, which isn't a bad thing to do if you want to be an amazing stylist. My hair was grey with purple tones and my roots well my roots were Brassy bad bad color and of course had a band on my hair from color to color. I mean clearly didn't hae high enough volumes and then didn't leave it in long enough for the one he did. My hair turns in 20- 30 min the longest and this guy left it for 45 min and still not even close to being blonde. So the owner who was very apologetic got me in with a girl to fix it who really did an amazing job to fix it with what she had to work with but unfortunately my hair is still brassy and it's honestly looks like somethig you would achieve at home with box dye of you don't know what your doing. So I have to say don't go to David or maybe ensure the stylist your going to actually has full knowledge. Such a shame as this is a very friendly salon with amazing reviews and great color and cuts have came out of it. But at the end of the day my hair is ruined and this guy still didn't see or understand from what I got out of it what he did wrong.
Two weeks later my hair has gotta even worse after going to this salon the mess has gone even more brassy and copper I have the worst foil and color job threw out the hair when you look and will be having to spend yet another chunk of money to get a color correction.
I decided to try out Loyal Hair Therapy since I live in the Glenmore area of Kelowna and wanted something close by. In the past I used to frequent the 20 dollar or less hair cut places. I decided to try out Loyal to get a men's cut. I have been going back ever since. The staff are all very friendly and I have never been more pleased with my hair cut (my wife agrees too!!!). If you are prepared to spend 35-40 bucks for a cut, then I would recommend Loyal to anyone (especially the stylist Nikki).
