We have been dining here once a month for over 10 years. The food is more traditional European and expertly prepared! I have eaten apple strudel all over the world but Case's homemade version is the best by far!
I have always loved my meals at the Old Yale Bistro. The food is cooked to perfection and the creme brulle, to die for. The menu ranges from the more exotic (ostrich, pheasant, quail, duck) to the familiar (chicken, salmon, pork).
The restaurant is small, the atmosphere is cozy and personal. The music is in the background and ambient allowing for easy conversation. The dining experience is pleasant and comfortable.
It's a casual fine dine food experience for reasonable prices. The chef not only cooks for you but serves you as well. Apparently he has worked in fine dining in Holland, Belgium, England, Quebec and here.
We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. We have had excellent meals and service consistantly whether we had just 2 or 22.
Ambience is both romantic and relaxing at the same time.
