Blue Dot Art Studio is an actual working studio environment. The paintings and ceramics reflect Anita’s unique style. All ceramics and glazes are made with environmentally friendly, leadfree materials that are safe in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven, dishwasher or microwave. The studio is open on a daily basis and visitors are welcome.

Inspired by her passion for nature and love of flowers, Anita lives and works from her waterfront home on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia. Nestled amongst the gardens that inspire her art, she spends many hours in her studio. Anita paints in watercolor and acrylic. She enjoys painting a variety of subjects including florals, landscapes, animals, still life and seascapes. Anita’s paintings are rendered in intense colours while an abundance of her ceramics bear cheerful floral designs. She is mostly self-taught with some private instruction. Her work has been successfully entered in many juried exhibitions throughout the province. Anita was born in Gothenburgh, Sweden and moved to Canada in 1971 where she now resides with her husband, Roland, in their home in Sechelt The studio is open on a daily basis and by appointment where visitors are always welcome.
