nothing authentic here people!!! No real Indian spice at all, not one single cardamom and fake saffron. This is the least authentic Indian food I have ever had. I have found better quality Indian food pre-packaged at a grocery store. Dry nan with no butter despite paying for it, bland taste with no spice even after asking for extra spicy. Just skip the costs and buy from the frozen section at any grocery store selling fake Indian food.
NEVER COMING BACK HERE - the worst dining experience for me and my girlfriend - all we could tase was an overload of chilli powder and no spices - wonder if they even check the food before serving. i've travelled extensively in india and know what real Indian food tastes like - this is a terrible representation. when i mentioned this to the 'stone faced' server she rudely said that this is what Indian food tastes like - BAD food and the WORST customer service - we're not coming back here !
DO NOT EAT HERE - ordered chick pea curry - which was too pungent for me to notice that it was off / bad - possibly due to it being stale and reheated over and over . BE AWARE of BOMBAYS CHUTNEY on Dundas in Burlington
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT The food is HORRIBLE!! We should have figured when we entered that since 'all' the tables were empty at lunch time , few if any people eat here. You cant taste the food as its loaded with chillies - numbs your taste buds making it impossible to 'taste' the food. Server was impolite cold and curt. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT
I eat at Bombay's Chutney about 3 times a month, maybe more. The food is incredible, the value is great, and the service is always warm and friendly.
Worst indian restaurant ever with worst service i think that all the other indian restaurants are way better and this restaurant was a waste of time. IF anybody out there goes here often try the other restaurants out and then you will realize what true indian food should be like. If you are thinking about going here then dont
Went there last wk for dinner and both me and my companion were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and reasonably priced, service was a little slow but worth the wait. Very good saag (spinach) and the Rasmalai (dessert) was fantastic without being overly sweet as it is in most indian restaurants. Will def be going back sooner then later.
An absolutely fantastic Indian restaurant. The food is top notch. Just about everything on the menu is delicious. We usually take out from Bombay's Chutney, but I've eaten in as well. My review however is mostly about the food. Quality and portions are very good. You can tell the food is made fresh because there are subtle differences each time you have it. Not much, but enough to tell you this is not prepared food.
A true gem of a restaurant! I have never eaten Indian food so good in my life, except in India, and at Little India Cafe in Ottawa! The food is truly outstanding, select any item, and it will be phenomenal! The Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chili Chicken, the Garlic Naans, you name it, they are outstanding! The vegetarian selections are also fantastic. I particularly like their Palak paneer!
This was my first visit to an Indian restaurant and I wasn't sure I would like it but overall the experience was a good one. The atmosphere was modern and the service was very attentive. The food was very good and filling. This Indian restaurant also has a liquor licence which is nice when you are relaxing after a hard day.
