South Ottawa Medical Centre

Never had a problem when I attended this Medical Center. Everyone seems very nice and professional.

Receptionists are rude and unprofessional. The practice promotes calling a booking an appointment with them before going to any walk-in clinic. I had attempted to call in and book an appointment to see the a doctor sooner then later. I was offered by the receptionist an appointment 2 1/2 weeks away stating my problem is not a medical emergency and they will not offer my even the walk-in services they offer. This leaving me no option to see medical assistant elsewhere.

Clean, bright, brand new space with caring doctors. I’m never waiting too long, I appreciate the reminder calls and the nurses are friendly and personable. Receptionists can be abrupt at times, depends on who is at the desk. The majority are very pleasant. A wonderful family medical centre.

Receptionist was rude and unprofessional, booked me in for the wrong type of appointment when I specifically asked for a longer one due to medical issues. Doctor was dismissive and unprofessional. I don't recommend this place...

The care is great though.

Good luck trying to get through when calling in for appointments. Hold times are always "longer than anticipated."
