Terrible service rude attitude treated like garbage
I've been a customer for 14 years and was treated like garbage. The night guy did not give much chicken in my chicken and rice combo on top of that my wife Garbage him a tip. Nice going for treating a long term customer.
My sister always raves about this place. So, I asked to bring something the next time she goes. She ordered "Rice & Chicken". It comes with 2 small pita's as well. As soon as I tasted it, I fell in love. I'm not sure if it's healthy for you, but the taste was amazing. The rice was pretty creamy with their special sauce and chicken was cooked very well.
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hamilton. I do hope they open another location in the city.

Too bad the food is very good here, because I will not be visiting again. The guy usually there at night isnt the friendliest, but is always respectful. Now the young guy that seems to work there earlier in the day was rude to everyone ordering when I was there today.
On top of being rude, he charged me $10 for the chicken and rice combo I received when the price says 7.97. He asked me for anything else, I said yes a can of pop please, since you charged me 10(because thats how much I pay regularly for a combo + pop) and he just walked away.
I then raised my voice so he could hear me and asked for a can of pop again - he didnt look but i saw a smirk on his face. I then asked for it again and both men ignored me, with the younger guy's smile widening again. Then I yelled really loudly, the younger guy still not looking and the older guy just glanced at me and noone did anything. Whats wrong with these guys?
I will not be coming here again.
I agree with the previous poster....they've really gotten skimpy with the chicken portion of the chicken and rice. I find the location on King street is much more generous.
Service isn't really friendly, but whatever. I'm not there to make friends with them.
They used to have a good shwarma, with a pop for $5 i think. I used to go there when i was younger it was pretty good.

Now it's way over priced for rice, sauce, bread, and a few leaves of lettuce. NOTICE I DIDN'T SAY MEAT.

Never had a problem with food or service. The staff is friendly - one guy even stayed open a few minutes late so I could go get cash to pay for my food.

Small place, looked clean. Went in for lunch and ordered a Shawarma...the guy rushed me out. When I got home, I took two bites and threw it out.

I went to the one on King Street and the food was O.K, but it was pricey for what it was and how little you got. There was a language barrier too which was a problem(he got my order wrong) while ordering . All this would have been swept under the rug had it not been for the curly, black hair in my food...YUCK....I was so disgusted! Avoid if you can!

Everytime I go there, I always get the same guy, very friendly and funny! The food is always good, although sometimes messy, but the messy food is always good! Awesome food and service.
The shawarmas are delicious. Lots of sauce and very messy. They're a little more expensive than others, but so far they are the best I've found in Hamilton. The guy making them did seem quite rushed and rather unfriendly, but who cares?
Great food, like the previous owners better though! I mean, its is just cheap rice, u can pack a lil more in there like the other guys did. These new guys cheap out on the portions.

extra hot sauce and white sauce is the way to go. make sure you chat with the guys a bit because if you don't they might rush cooking it which kinda sucks. this time though was pretty good. in 2005 they had the best shwarma's ever!
O my Gosh i Love this resturant !!!! If u are loooking for a resturant with great food and a d Dining Experiance THIS IS THE RESTUANT FOR YOU!!! Great Food. Wonderful and polite employees and all for a goodprice! There Resturant is the best and you eat alot for a low price!
Been going there a long time, and the chicken shwarma's are incredible. Although I can't eat there anymore after I noticed that they do not have a sink up front, they clean their hands on a wet towel then touch your food.
