Karate Kawartha Lakes is a non profit family oriented traditional karate organization focusing on Masaru Shintani's teachings and values of kindness and humility. We strive to offer families and youth from all economic, cultural and social backgrounds a program that will enable them to develop self confidence, physical fitness, focus and concentration to achieve their positive potential, and become role models in their community. We provide a program that will increase the participant's capacity to make healthy choices, engage in positive behaviours and enhance personal health and safety.
