Meet the owner

Amy Pak had always displayed an entrepreneurial spirit. Before moving to Mississauga, she was operating a florist shop in Ottawa. When a “for lease” sign in a Queen Street storefront caught her attention, the wheels were set in motion and in 2006, she launched Streetsville Treasures.

The store is a reflection of Amy’s innate talent. “I simply love to shop!” she declares with an exuberant chuckle. Encouraged by friends who had complimented her on her own personal shopping style, Amy has brought her professional shopping acumen to Streetsville Treasures’ shelves, stocking one-of-a-kind, out-of-the-ordinary items that her customers covet.

In 2010, the store re-located  around the corner on Thomas Street with the new retail space doubling in size to 800 square feet. The business has evolved from its initial concept of a typical gift shop featuring jewellery, handbags, clothing, home decor and fashion accessories. It now taps into the strong nostalgia market, offering an inspiring glimpse into the glorious former decades.
