Meet the owner

From birthday parties to team-building exercises for corporate employees, Karin Lickers does it all at Glaze Craze. She took over the pottery painting studio in 2008. “I had been in the works of starting up my own at the time," she recalls. "But it just made more sense to buy a pre-existing store because I’d get a customer base with it.”

At Glaze Craze, Karin leads exercises where people can create their own pottery works of art, the most popular choice being a personalized mug. Customers can also make glass-fused jewellery, paint a canvas, and work with clay using a pottery wheel.
