At HC Kitchen Bath, we only use Canadian Hard Maple and American Red Oak for our cabinet doors. Due to Canada's weather, we have longer winters. Local hard wood is much more suitable and adaptable for this kind of weather. Wood from other countries is more vulnerable and easy to crack or damage. Our cabinets will be 100% wood construction. HC measured the quartz countertops incorrectly for our bathroom vanities, so the faucet didn't fit.Instead of fixing the issue,they recut the quartz and installed the backsplash behind the counter instead of on top.They acknowledged that this was wrong,promised to fix it,but said it would take months, delaying us moving into the house.The cabinets were scratched and damaged and improperly stained.They claimed this was an "antique" style.In the end, I uninstalled the cabinets and returned them.
