Meet the owner

Vince Camputaro and Dimitri Mladenovski didn’t find hairstyling; hairstyling found them. “I wanted to be an electrical engineer,” explains Dimitri. “And Vince wanted to be an accountant. But we weren’t ready to go to university right away, after high school, so we went to hairdressing school instead.” Vince and Dimitri’s “gap year” led to accidental careers as hairstylists, which eventually led to becoming co-owners of Red Label Hair Company.

The two met at Marvel Beauty School in Yorkville at the age of 18. “We hung out at a coffee shop after school and sketched out what our future salon would look like,” recalls Vince. After graduation, they gained industry experience and were mentored by top Toronto stylists. In 2004, they were ready to open the doors to their own shop, steps from Runnymede Station. “We love High Park. It’s a town within a city,” says Dimitri.

Love this salon! I drive an hour to get here (used to live nearby) and its SO worth it. Have tried other salons (only because we moved) but nothing else comes even close to the talent and service. Highly recommend!!

Best Hair Salon in Toronto

Hair Salons are a dime a dozen in Toronto, but Red Label Hair Co. stands apart from the rest. The staff is friendly and talented. The atmosphere is comfortable, chic and professional. I have consistently had great experiences and will continue to be a happy and satisfied customer.
