Jan Ng started planning her own wedding when she was just a kid. “I’ve been obsessed with wedding dresses since I was young,” she remembers. She lingered over details like bridesmaid dresses (polka dot) and shoes (unconventional red instead of the traditional white), and once the wedding was over and done, Jan found herself thinking fondly back to the hectic but exciting period of planning her wedding. “I know some people would be like ‘you miss wedding planning? I can’t wait until it’s done.’ But I really missed planning all the little details.” So Jan launched her own wedding and event planning business in 2012: Willow Rose Events.
