The story begins with an encounter between two girls whose creative worlds were intertwined: Ismérie Anglade, founder of The Little Spot, offered DIY workshops (decor, jewellery, accessories, etc.) and items by Québec artists. Florence Goletti, founder of MMM, curates interesting Montreal addresses and creates surprise boxes filled with delightful items that highlight local creators.
Mix it all together, add a pinch of good humour and laughter, and let it percolate for a few months. The result? Atelier du coin de la rue! "We chose the term "atelier" (workshop) to express the versatile side of the place," explains Florence, and "du coin de la rue ("at the corner of the street"), that is a dream that I have had since childhood," adds Ismérie with a big smile.
