Their instinct told them there were others just like them, secretly wishing for a bookstore that catered to their unique tastes.
Librairie Le Port de Tête saw the light of day in 2007, just a few blocks from Mont-Royal metro in an area known for its youthful feel and artistic flair. The store quickly built up a following among the neighbourhood’s inquisitive minds, learning enthusiasts and literature aficionados. Years later, at any given time of day, the store is bustling with shoppers hunting for a unique item or placing orders with the store’s staff.
Well established on Mont-Royal Avenue, between the major arteries of Saint-Denis and Saint-Laurent, this little shop run by people who are passionate about books has been exceeding expectations since 2007. Here, the customer is king and the books are chosen "for the sole purpose of responding to the intelligence of the readers." What more could a person want? They carry new and used books.
