Hi there thanks for checking out our page my name is Jeannie Bylo been an owner of Chesapeakes for over fifteen years. Chesapeakes are not a well known breed but I believe they are one of the best family, hunting dogs out there. I got Chester 8 years ago from a breeder in Manitoba he was my second Chessie from this breeder. Tuff was my first he was about 140 pounds about the smartest dog I ever had, but sadly was stolen from me. Chester and Tuffs dad was a registered Chesapeake, a giant and an excellent hunting dog. Bella was bought year later in Saskatchewan she has proved herself as a supper mom very protective and attentive to her puppies. Flicka is my other breeding female, she turns out lighter and wavier chessies at an average chessie size. Previous puppies have gone on to be excellent hunters in both bird and shed hunting.
