Noted for an excellent selection of locally sourced food and beer, The Oakwood also has one of the most extensive wine lists in the neighbourhood. A fairly recent addition to the Kitsilano bar scene, the Colony is a popular haunt for students as well as locals. They offer a couple of local reds and whites on tap and several wines by the glass. Savour your choice with a little entertainment throughout the week like music, live comedy and trivia nights. The Colony has happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on weeknights – so, grab an upholstered booth for comfort and order a bite to eat with your drink. How about chicken wings stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon? Such decadence!
