I've been here twice already. I ordered the Wimpy's combo (hamburger) and the Chicken BLT sandwich. Great portion for the price. The hamburger was decent, juicy and fresh off the grill. Fries weren't that great. They tasted stale and very "saw dusty". Their Chicken BLT was terrible. the chicken was dry and tasteless. The bacon that was in my sandwich were overcooked. It had a "paper" texture to it. It took some manpower to actually chew this sandwich down. The setting consists of casual tables and booth seating as many as twelve customers, comfortable chairs and simple artwork covers the walls. We were lucky enough to be placed beside a warm brick fireplace, on a cold winter afternoon. As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by the host at Swiss Chalet on Dundas Street in Cambridge, Ontario. He led us to our booth within minutes, as the waitress made her way to our table. The energy around us from the staff, customers and store were welcoming, warm, and crucial to how comfortable, and suitable our lunch was going to be. The rotisserie chicken club wrap with fries, along with the rotisserie quarter chicken meal with whipped potatoes was ordered during our visit, with excellent service and time management. The server was friendly, engaged in conversation and interest of what we were ordering and how satisfied we were with our Swiss Chalet experience. Our overall experience at Swiss Chalet, the Cambridge location was delightful.
