Always yummy as you'd expect from a Swiss chalet. It's a very busy location but certain times of the day it is easier to be seated. Waits aren't usually too long. One time they ran out of chicken! But I love this restaurant and would say its my favourite place for dining.

I dont understand the previous negative reviews...?
I have been going here for years and the food has been always good. I have never received bad service. The service is average but never bad.
Everything is fresh and tasty. Our favourites are Dynamite roll, Volcano Roll, Bonsai Roll to name a few..

Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at McReilly's many times over the years and the food, service and atmosphere is consistently good. Have eaten at some of the other pubs in Barrie, and although the food may be marginally better, they don't have the consistency that McReilly's does.

Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Barrie. Love it. Great job Mom's!!!!

Some food was a little salty but the portion sizes are generous. Too much batter on tempura items. The menu is Canadianized as are most Chinese restaurants but I found they have more items to choose from. The Specials that they have for Families of 4 or 5 are pretty decent. I've been to Shoeless Joes in Alliston several times and have always enjoyed my dining experience. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is very inviting, comfortable and clean, but the real reason I keep going back is the food.
I eat out often and believe that Shoeless Joes provides a great dining experence and excelent value. I would recommend Shoesless joes to even the most fussy eater.
