Made with fresh, local ingredients, cooked to order.
You can upgrade to premium toppings like goat cheese and portobello mushrooms, melts in your mouth.
The portions are huge definitely a man sized burger. Fries and onion rings too.
I have never seen such huge onion rings before. Beer battered and fantastic.
Price, very reasonable for the sizes you get. I think it was $4.50 a burger to make it a combo it was $6.50.
You pay more at the other “big chain” burger places in town and still feel hungry afterwards.

This is a great place to visit for dinner and drinks. My wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. We will certainly visit again and reccomend the Man of York to others.

I stopped in on my way through this fun little town while on business. I was looking for some local food. I ordered a chicken club and half way through making it the chef walked out through the front door, went next door to the local cheese mongor and bought more cheese for my sandwich. Overall great food, great people and it supports other local businesses.

Incredible service 100%. The sticky toffee pudding is TO DIE FOR. Their mussles are so good that my 10yo orders them every time we were there. Yeah, that’s right, a 10yo. The same kid who won’t even look at a pizza if it has touched pizza sauce.
During COVID, the service standard has been consistently amazing. Even with all the obstacles the food is so delicious, and now THEY DELIVER, which is so much better than pizza every night.

Went in on a Monday afternoon had their special 'Panko Fried Bass w/ fries, gravy & Coleslaw' SO good! I prefer to come here in the afternoon when it is a bit more quiet or get take out in the evening as this place start hoppin in the evenings. The food here is awesome- great prices, fast, yummy! I have to comment on the review thats that badmouth the servers. First of all the one reviewer says her usual order is 2 drinks. then blathers on about how she gets cut off. If you act like an idiot after 2 drinks then you deserve it. If 2 drinks is your usual order then your also cheap and probably just a jealous shrew that hates any attractive servers. Having said that- they are probably better off without your whopping $7.00 bill.

Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at McReilly's many times over the years and the food, service and atmosphere is consistently good. Have eaten at some of the other pubs in Barrie, and although the food may be marginally better, they don't have the consistency that McReilly's does.
