We had the crab cakes and a salad to start and we both so enjoyed the sabelfish entree. It was one of the best sablelfish fish I have ever had, it was so moist and served overall in a healthy manner. We shared their chocolate molten cake dessert which was gooey good. Just as we were about to leave we noticed live music at 9pm so we stayed a little more longer to enjoy with some hot drinks. The menu is small, however it offers something for everyone. We tried their signature dish "Oyster po' boy" ($15). It is served with a roasted tomato soup drizzled with rich basil oil. We ate at Rosie's on Robson while on vacation in Vancouver. We stayed at the Westin a few blocks up the street the location seemed convenient. Rosie's markets itself as a British pub style eatery with a good selection of draught beer. When we got seated at our table, the temperature was very warm. The staff claimed the air conditioning at the maximum level but we found that hard to believe. The decor also appeared to be quite outdated. When our food arrived, the veggie burger was found to be slightly under-cooked. The spring rolls were very good but the portion size was small (2 rolls cut into halves). My bruschetta was very good and the portion was decently sized. Although the restaurant was not terrible, I would not recommend it due to the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Read more
