Food was amazing, had the blackened trout and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable and even more so considering the quality. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is suitable to be well dressed, however, we visited on return from a camping trip Tobermory and received not a single awkward look. Even better, the staff squeezed us in without a reservation and was very welcoming.

Wow ! What a great place to eat and have a good time. The food was delicious and and restaurant is beautiful now ! I was here for a party last week we had so much fun. They had music, people danced , great singer !! Our waiter made us laugh and is really good looking too . Last time i was here was 8 years ago and place looked kind of old fashioned and not well kept. Now they made changes in every way and I have to admit this restaurant is better than most in every way. Whenever we are in the area, we treat ourselves to a slice or two. Their pizza is simple, authentic and delicious. They capture the "old world" flavours of Italy, which is something you CANNOT get at "franchise/big chain" pizza places.
We are not Italian, but we certainly know how to eat pizza. We've also travelled to Italy several times (although never to the Naples area). So we're not really (culturally) qualified to judge authentic Italian food.
But what we can say is:
When you eat "Italian" food in Italy, it's not the same as eating food from a chain restaurant here. In Italy, food is more of a celebration. They take care to use really good ingredients that let the subtle flavours of tomato and cheese, etc really shine through. We find that chain pizza places use generally poor quality ingredients.
Naples uses high quality, authentic ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. Highly recommended.

Im usually giving very positive reviews but for this place i have to make a bit of an exception. Don't get me wrong, i got the arabiata pasta and it was great! However, while my wife and i were eating our meal we had to endure the chef freaking out in the kitchen (maybe an open kitchen isnt a good idea for this type of person). I thought he was just having a bad day, but ive been here a few times and every time on a friday or saturday night the chef although nice to the customers seems a little frustrated in the kitchen, including towards the servers. I also found that i was rushed by the kitchen staff. Before i even finished my appetizer, here comes my main course..Needless to say i think if i get anything from here again i will order take out. I recommend any of the pastas, my wife had muscles and said they were "okay" and said for someone who "specializes in seafood" she expected better quality.

I always order from this location they make amazing pizza even with my super picky requests and I have yet to be disappointed, in fact today I accidentally ordered the wrong toppings on my pizza, totally my fault and I called them and they sent over a new correct pizza. I've been to Oregano's many times and know the staff quite well. I usually split a pizza to start (margherita) and get an entree, or pasta. I love the veal parmigana. My husband and I went the other night and had an amazing meal, a wonderful bottle of wine recommended by our server that was perfectly paired to our meal. Wether you are grabbing a quick bite before the show, eating a 3 course dinner, or sipping on an espresso on the patio you can't go wrong with this sweet little neighborhood find! Salut!
