This restaurant has now been taken over by a new owner and the dining experience is amazing! You must give this restaurant a try! The food is delicious, presentation is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very romantic. The owner came by our table to check on us and recommended we try Tuna Tar Tar. It was AMAZING! We don't have any other restaurants here in Windsor with this ambiance and dining experience! I come approx. once every month or two and I love it. I admit I get the same dish every time but it is my favorite, what can I say. My company usually switches it up so I've tried some other items and I like it all. My service is always great (especially when I get Edie) but all the servers are nice. Food always comes quickly and service (even simply filling up water gasses) is prompt. People need to realize that at 6 pm on a Saturday night the place is going to be busy no matter what so service and atmosphere will no be as great. I go to restaurants at NON PEAK times to enjoy a quiet meal with no wait, paticularily if I bring my young son. Spagos is wonderful and the food is great quality! Best manocotti ever!! Read more

I will always remember what I had for dinner the first time my parents brought me to the Cook's Shop. It was the Chicken Diablo - a whole, large chicken, butterflied with a spicy sauce. The server commented that it was "bigger than me" and I might not be able to eat it all. I proved her wrong! SInce then, I have made many trips to this little place and most of the time I still end up with the chicken. My girlfriend feels the same way about the Angus Scallopini. On our last visit, the "garnish" (as they call it), was an order of spagheti in marinara sauce. In most places, this "garnish" could have been dinner! I will never stop coming here. The food is great. The wait staff are super nice and accommodating. And the one waiter who always seemed to be in a hurry is now gone - (some people will find that a relief, but I must say he waited on us a couple of times and it wasn't too bad). I would definitely come again. Their pizza is delicious and so filling. I ate a whole one by myself at their two for one specials. My only complaint is the size of the place, which was really crowded because my friend and I had to squeeze around people and their tables. Not much moving room. That's all. But I'd definitely go back because their service is very friendly, accommodating and casual, much like the atmosphere. And their food is the best. Read more

We had a wonderful meal and excellent service. I have food allergies and they were able to work around it. Even at the end of the meal our server remembered, and even offered a dessert option for me.
