Based on other online reviews, the Pantheon is arguably the best Greek restaurant in Greek Town, Toronto. We made reservations ahead of time, had the much reviewed and loved Saganaki, which they light up at your table and the chicken souvlaki; the large and small portions. The chicken was ridiculously good, the potatoes were incredible and the rice was fantastic. With two greek beers and a red wine, our bill totaled $65. It was a good experience, we will return again. Four us before a show at the Royal Alexandria - so definitely convenient - especially with the free parking in the metro centre available. Service was good and prompt. Food was tasty. However, portion size could have been bigger, especially for the price! I had chicken souvlaki with all greek salad on the side (asked for no potatoes, not rice, no carbs for me) and it was $19. One skewer of chicken with 5 pieces of meat on it. My husband had the pork souvlaki, $20, and had to pay another $5 for a tiny greek salad on the side. $14 for saganaki. Again, good, but would have been great if portions were a little bigger and or prices were a little cheaper. Read more
