We were recommended to Rob by another tutor who could no longer handle the difficult Grade 12, 30-1 curriculum for our daughter who always had trouble with math. It was a great experience. Rob was always on time, cared about what he was teaching and was invested in the year end result for my daughter. He would accommodate and book extra sessions as required and was available after tutoring via text message for questions. Alex passed 30-1 and it is all thanks to Rob!
I started tutoring with Rob before Spring Break. At first, I had my doubts considering how difficult Math has been for me but I needed a tutor considering I had failed my Math midterm. It didn't take long until his clear way of explaining things and patience started to have an effect on my marks. I gained about 10-15 percent in my in class marks. When it came to the diploma I scored an 80 which brought my in class marks up even more. He really tries to find out how students learn best so he can assist them as much as possible. Rob is a great tutor and I recommend him for high school students in need of math help.
My daughter received tutoring from Rob for 8 months. When she first began working with him she felt very negative towards math. Rob went over and above our expections by using flexible and innovative teaching style that accommodated her learning needs. My daughter now actually loves math and looks forward to learning new math concepts. I would highly recommend his services.
Rob is very knowledgeable in math and works well with different types of students. Rob tutored my granddaughter who has learning disabilities and ADHD. I leaned a lot about adapting to alternate learning styles by observing him.
Rob is a fantastic math tutor who really understands the concept of teaching and making concepts clear. Since Rob helped me my math mark came up 25% and I ended up receiving a 95 on my math diploma. I credit much of this to Rob who was available any time I needed a session and I was able to contact him via text for any additional questions. Rob also provides plenty of booklets and diploma style questions, more than enough to keep you busy. Hands down best Math teacher I've had to date.
