As a young girl, Rita Brisebois always wanted to create things. “I would make floral arrangements. I would take a piece of wood and write on it," she says. "I always wanted to take something and beautify it.” She has turned that talent into a business with her store, Raggs to Riches. “It’s always been antiques and vintage," says Rita. "It’s always been about creating – taking something old and turning it into something new.”
She chose the name Raggs to Riches based on her faith as a devout Christian. “It spoke to my heart how God took a rag and turned it into riches, how he can take a vessel that is broken down and turn it into something beautiful,” says Rita. “I would always take pieces and fix them up and turn old into new."
