We order food for deliver and found out the noodles tasted like 2 days old and soaking on oil... disgusting to say something nice, I called Tong Fei to let them know the situation and the cook / owner said they can't do anything about it so I decided go there with my wife and kids. After arguing for 15 minutes in front of costumers consuming in the restaurant all we got was the refunding of one of the 3 meals because he said we ate a bit out of it, even after the embarrassing episode for him he didn't care how horrible the way his own business looked.
Pretty bad food, horrible costumer service, doesn't worth spend a dime in there.
We ordered delivery tonight. It appeared in 15 minutes, max. Sounds great, right? Well, that's because it was clearly old. The chow mein noodles were disgusting. They were obviously old, mushy in places, hard in others... mushy on the outside, hard on the inside.
We called in and asked for a refund. They said no. We called back and said we were driving the food back. They said fine.
We get in the restaurant & there are 2 other tables in there. I think one of them was family because they were sitting together.
The guy refuses to refund one of our chow meins (we had 2) because there was a centimetre missing. We dished out a tiny bit, took some bites and were disgusted. threw our plates in the garbage and left.
I offered to dig the remaining out of my garbage, but he said no. He can't refund food if any way missing. I asked him how we would know it was disgusting if we didn't actually try it.
At this point, some woman comes out of the kitchen to argue loudly at us about the food.
I tell them, "This is how unprofessional you all are. People coming out of the kitchen in front of customers to argue with us."
Over $8.91.
So, this guy is willing to lose customers, both us and that unfortunate couple eating there at the time, over 8.91.
