Dave Lutes is the owner of Treewise. Dave has been working in the arboriculture field for over 20 years. He is known locally, nationally, and internationally for his skills and experience as a production climber, production arborist, and provider of production arborist training including chainsaw safety. Dave is recognized for his expertise with rigging large pieces of wood, an approach he developed and which has resulted in his recognition as the expert in "big trees in tight spaces, difficult places". Dave is an active ISA member, an ISA Tree Worker/Climber Specialist, a licensed Manitoba arborist, an Arbormaster training graduate, and an accredited IVMAA (International Vegetation Management Association of Alberta) utility arborist, which means he is one of only a few dozen in Canada who are licensed to work among power/utility lines.
