The Corporation of the Town of Cochrane operates two child care facilities: Cochrane Child Care Centre; located at 435 Tenth Avenue. Garde D’Enfants de Cochrane; a Francophone child care centre located at 399 8th Street in the Nouveau Regard School. We provide a child-centered, safe, caring and nurturing environment that encourages, stimulates and fosters a child's self-esteem and growth. The Cochrane Child Care Centre and Garde d'enfants de Cochrane is accepting registrations. The Centre is a licensed integrated child care centre with a qualified resources teacher on staff. This resource teacher helps to develop and implement strategies and programs to assist children with special needs.

The Centre employs Registered Early Childhood Educators as required by the Child Care and Early Years Act along with Teacher’s Aids and a Cook who prepares meals for both sites. Our staff is well trained and attends professional development workshops when available throughout the year.
