Great food great staff great atmosphere great everything

I love this place!! I go with my friends all the time and wow is it amazing! The food, staff and atmosphere is grrrreeeeaaaatttt!!!!!!! We have an awesome time when we go. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it never disappoints! It's so much fun to watch a game too I love it i'm sure you will too!!!

Disgusting and Dirty

This place was horrible! When we walked in we waited to be seated because there was no host, but yet there was an empty restaurant. Then when we got the food it was absolutely disgusting, I ordered the chicken salad and it tasted awful (the dressing was from a kraft bottle and the chicken was dry and tasted terrible) my boyfriend ordered a fish dish which was overwhelmingly covered in sauce (also tasted disgusting). I just don't understand how a restaurant like this can still be open, it needs to be shut down!

A Pricey let down

I can't see what all the hype was about. The food was barely passable. We ordered 8 menu items for 3 of us to really try the place out. $10.99 for a tiny portion of short ribs. $14.99 for a mango salad that wasn't anything special. $7.99 for a handful of potato chips and packaged dip. You can't make this up folks. Mushroom ravioli was cold in the center and we only got 3 for $15.99. Come on. Drinks were way over the top expensive too. The atmosphere was decent but it doesn't make you forget the food or price. The worst part is a server we know told us that Wendel doesn't even have anything to do with the place and just lends his name. She also told me she hadn't seen him since it opened. Very disappointing.

Horrible service

We were 10 people but went at 4:30 so the place was empty. There was not even 1 other guest in the place which we thoughts would be great. However the service was awful. The food took 90 minutes, was cold and they had no chicken so 2 meals had to be changed. 15 minutes after the order was placed! OMG, Our waitress never came to ask us for coffee or desert then dropped off Wendel bucks and said to be used at our next visit! Let's just say, it was almost her tip. Oh ya, the corona special could not be honored! They were out of beer! We will ever be back!

Wendel take your good name off this restaurant

We had read the reviews but decided to be open minded - we should have listened to the reviews. Our reservation, so as we thought was for 7:30. We were informed upon arrival that head office policy had changed and no reservations for a party of 12 were allowed on Saturdays. We ended up sitting at the bar for almost half an hour waiting for a table. We ordered appetizers and waited more than half an hour for them to come. By the time we ordered our entrees and received them it was after 9:30 - more than 2 hours after our arrival. The food was nothing special. By the time we finally received our bill and left it was 11:00. The only redeeming factors were the Leafs winning 7-1 and our friends; otherwise it was a wasted evening. The server did all she could to keep things moving, I don't blame her. In the end they gave us $60 of coupons for all of the inconvenience but they are only good if you plan to return which will never be the case.

cant wait to go back

This is the best place for me and my friends to just relax and enjoy the evening. Food and atmosphere are superb. Their chef does a great job with the food. A cold pint of beer is all you need to finish it off :) Booking my table for the weekend!!

2 words.. love it!! food is great, ambiance is excellent. i will visit this place again and again. tried their rib eyes steak and was fantabulous!!

great place to hangout!

Absolutely love this joint for a nice place to relax with friends. Even better when the games are on! Good food, great customer service, excellent ambiance ... perfect venue to chill after a long week. Will be heading back there tomorrow, cold beer, here i come!!

Best Place in town!

Wendel Clarks has always been the place to hang out! Great food, great service! Can't wait to be back! I'll try and post some of the crazy pictures soon!

Classy and Fun

Classy and fun with so much food selection-especially for a sport's bar. ( I'm definitely a foodie :P ) The food is moderately priced so you can munch on one of their fun and tasty appetizers while watching a game or go for a whole sit-down meal in one of the booths. (I ate at the bar though.) Overall, it was a vibrant atmosphere with good food!

Always been GREAT!

My family and I have been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed the food, the service and the surroundings. I don't think we've ever had a bad meal!

I don't know about others, but me and my boys always seem to have a great time. Its a great place to have a good time with friends, good food and beer! btw Berlin was awesome last weekend! - TJ

the reviews talking about 'concept'

either are the marketing people who are working it or have bought into the marketing. The food here is in the same league as the Maple Leafs hockey. Inferior to the competition and not satisfying. Go directly to the club if yer here or the movies. thats it. The girls are not attractive and make ye feel like its East marios.

I went to Wendel Clark’s last weekend and I had a great time!! I went after work with some coworkers. We started off at Wendel’s for dinner and I had the famous wendel burger! It was HUGE! I could barely fit my mouth around it but it’s as delicious as it is big! My buddies tried the seafood salad sandwich and the mushroom ravioli and everyone was very happy with the quality of the food. After dinner we went to a Yuk Yuks show and after the show we went to Berlin Nightclub for a few drinks as it’s all part of a larger complex called entertainment central. All these venues are under one roof so all your night’s entertainment is all in one place! what a great concept/idea!! Next time I come back I’ll have to be sure to take in a dueling pianos show which is also in this venue!

Great Time!!

I went to Wendel Clark's on June 17th. The patio itself is big, beautiful and the food is amazing! ] I got to meet Wendel Clark as he was there too having dinner. I had the kalbi beef short ribs as an appetizer (the honey roasted garlic sauce was delicious) and the east coast fettucini (which had a great blend of flavour). I'd also come back on a weekend to check out the other places in this complex (dueling pianos, berlin nightclub and yuk yuks).
