Montana's is one of my favourite restaurants. I always love going back to see what new items have been added to the menu. Even though I always get the ribs when I'm there. Can't beat them. This is one restaurant that my family and I enjoy going to. We always have a different experience with every visit.

I usually enjoy this place BUT this particular day there were a few mistakes. The veggies that came with my chicken were very UNDERcooked. Hubbys fries came without the poutine he asked for..& yet the waitress remembered to bill us for it. Afterwards they said sons applecrisp would be a few minutes as they were making fresh ones, when it came she warned him to be careful b/c it was straight from the oven. Well, the dish was hot but the apples were cold & looked liked they poured plain oatmeal on top. The waitress was very sweet , & appologenic. I have only the cook to blame...

Had to go to the back to ask for my soup since the waitress forgot it. Food tasted good..way over priced though. Very slow...took just over two hours to have two pops, soup to start and a meal. In two hours we should have had a seven course meal. The "winning deal meal" was a joke - take note of the false advertising on the website and the menu - the desert is a HALF portion, not the full portion in a measuring cup. What ever happened to the good old Montanas from 5 years ago when it use to be amazing every time?

How can anybody rate this place as 10?

I feel sorry our waitress has to share the tip we left her with the kitchen staff. It has been 5 years since my last visit and it will be at least that again, if I can forget how bad the food is. What was wrong. Cheese on the garlic bread was difficult to see or taste on the very small portion that was served up. Fish & chips with inedible fries means the whole meal is a waste of effort. Fries were also served, eventually, with the ribs. These were also inedible.

Ordered the fajita platter for 2 for $30. It...

Ordered the fajita platter for 2 for $30. It took almost 30 minutes to receive our food...just when we were about to pay for our drinks and walk out, the food finally arrived. For a $30 platter for 2, I could not believe how small the portions were. The 2 of us had to share 2 tablespoons of salsa, 2 tablespoons of sour cream and a really small portion of grilled chicken. Not to mention, it took another 20 minutes to get our bill.
