We hired Hilltop to help with some wind storm damage we had and they were very prompt and professional. Even during a busy time, Jay still called me back and he sent his crew to our house over the weekend so that we didnt have to worry about our hazardous tree. His crew was friendly, hardworking, and they did a great job cleaning up. I would highly recommend Hilltop.
The trail of damages done to my property were double what I had actually payed for the stump removal itself (in advance to the work, as requested by the owner). When contacted to ask about it Jason declined any responsibility altogether, although he had inspected the site prior to executing the work and guaranteed it would be done to the highest standards of quality. HillTop claims they have tried to provide remediation measures to the damages incurred which is not true.
I had toyed with getting someone in to re-shaped three of my trees, they aren't shrubs so I needed someone with experience. I found that Hilltop was amazing, Jay called and came by looked at my first concern the tall birch on the front lawn. We agreed on a time and day and he came back. After that we looked at the trees in the back yard, and again made a date for the haircut. Very personable, came with a couple of workers,cleaned up. No heavy machinery just extended clippers. I was impressed, all together it was around 400.00 Well worth the money .

We called this company for a quote on a spring tree trim/removal and was given a quote of 485, with a booking three weeks later for June 1st, a Saturday. We cancelled all our daytime plans to be there when they arrived. That morning, we called around 8am to ask when they would show up. Jason told us 2pm. By 3:45pm. they hadn't come, so we called and left a message, which was ignored. At 5pm; three hours later, the doorbell rings. We asked what happened and were told that he had been too busy to answer his cell. This might have flown if he was alone, but he brought a crew of two with him. Not buying that no one had two minutes to call us and say they were going to be delayed. When we pointed this out, we were actually told that "there has been no inconvenience". To have them show up three hours late on a Saturday, then be told we hadn't been inconvenienced, was appalling. We understand that things come up and we don't have a problem with that. What really galled us was that they didn't respect our time enough to make a simple two minute call. At 5pm, we were ready to begin our evening plans and certainly didn't want a noisy crew beginning a big job that late in the day. We suggested he come back the next day, giving him a chance to redeem himself, and we got more attitude. We sent them away. I would proceed with extreme caution using this place if you value your time, especially on a weekend.
I had Jay from Hilltop Tree Care come to our house for a tree removal in the backyard. I was initially impressed when he arrived on time for the quote, and in the rain ! Other tree companies didn't even bother showing up due to the rain. On the day of the job he was on time and got to work very quickly. My husband and I noted he took the time to remove our lawn ornaments and moon rays so no damage would occur. Overall we were very happy with the services from Hilltop Tree Care and we would recommend them without reservation!
