Basically I felt no one actually was interested on serving us.The incident with the dirty carafe spoiled the evening and I felt that nothing was done to rectify this situation. (A clean carafe with new wine was all we required and then the evening would have been enjoyable).This may seem a small point to you but on the larger scale I wonder how actually clean the dishes and kitchen, bar, etc really are. In this age of bacteria some of which are deadly the cleaniliness of a restaurant is very important to the whole atmosphere along with the service and good food.
Great decor, great wine, great music, great service - AMAZING FOOD. Make sure to try the 'other' side of the menu. Not just the pizza. There are some amazing surprises! Best restaurant in the province.
Really great meal, the pizzas had an unusual variety of topping that combined for great flavors. The meal was nicely done, nice atmosphere sitting in the back courtyard. We finished with a great dessert.
The only low point was the service, once our plates were cleared they seemed to forget about us and it took a long time to order dessert and get the bill. Look forward to going back.

We'd heard nothing but rave reviews about Wooden Heads, so we decided to try it before leaving Kingston for the summer. It took three tries to get in. We finally gave up on reservations and lucked out by walking in the door and requesting a table. We were, however, told we could only have the table "for one hour."
The food was excellent, and service was incredibly fast, but I felt a bit rushed the whole time I was there. We were out of there in much less than an hour, but the server was practially tugging our plates out of our hands before we could finish chewing!
A unique experience. Wonderful food that lives up to the reputation. I'd definntely recommend it. Be sure to check out the specials before you order, though: I missed out on some interesting options!
