The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. Not only was the waitress rude, the owner had a yelling fit after we asked her to accomodate a simple request to substitue a menu item. I was disgusted with their lack of respect. I would not recommend anyone go there in future.

This is the best Mexican restaurant that I have been to in Toronto. The food is excellent and authentic. The service is fast, efficient and extremely friendly! My husband and I visit regularly and have introduced many of our friends who have also happily become regulars.
I found out about this restaurant on this site, and debated driving all the way to Streetsville (I'm from Kitchener) for dinner, but I'm so glad I did.
The food was the freshest I have ever had. Completely authentic. The margarita was better than any I've had down south (small is plenty for dinner-I can't imagine what large looks like). The lady who owns the restaurant chatted with us quite a bit as it wasn't busy. The food came out quickly. The only thing to mention was the taco cantina is very filling as an appetizer-only get it if you are extremely hungry!
We will definately make the drive again, well worth it!
I am really stunned to hear all those comments....well yes the owner can get a little rude at times but she just lost her husband and her daughter(the only waitress) left for university this year....so we can understand. I've been hear 5x and the food has always been great. The one thing i really like is the authenticity of the food.. i've gone to arizona, New mexico AND texas before and i've NEVER tasted anything better then this food.
