We pride ourselves on knowing it is the perfect place for an early morning breakfast, lunch on the run or a casual family dinner.We at The Old Country Restaurant have worked together as a family to create that comfortable, small town feel to our restaurant, where we know most of our customers by name. My wife Sue and myself have made great friends over the nineteen years that we have owned and operated the restaurant.I've been working in different capacities in restaurants since 1973, owning the Comparsita Restaurant in Waterloo from 1976 to 1984.Our children Kathy, Steve and Alex have all worked (and continue to work) with us. Great food. When they say "home made", they mean...

Great food. When they say "home made", they mean it. Service only got a 9 because it was so packed, they could have had one more server on hand. Food was still hot, fast, and super tastey.
