At the time, Jam was the trendiest restaurant in Ontario's trendiest town. The faux martini drinkers there to be seen only get in the way of those looking for a great meal. Extremely overcrowded, making attentive service impossible. Chicken good, but sized for stick like super models. For the money, entrees are far too small. Wine list is average at best (few Pinots) while exaggerated martini list is so far over the top it almost spoofs itself. Better value and equally posh restaurants can be found up and down Lakeshore...as long as your appetite outweights your need to make the scene.

Excellent! Great ambience, spring rolls to die...

Excellent! Great ambience, spring rolls to die for. So many varieties - hard to choose. Will definetly return to try more. Service a little slow, but our party was of 10. Great place for a girl's night out/bridal shower. Love the decor.

The service was below par for the area that we were dining. I have a high expectation when I visit a restaurant in the Oakville core and this one did not live up to its name. I am very unempressed by the service that was offered by this restaurant.

I was unimpressed. The server did know the menu and screwed up my drink order "TWICE". The food was OK at best and the ambiance was over rated.

excellent service, terrific ambiance - Oakville...

excellent service, terrific ambiance - Oakville needs more places that you can go for martini's or wine, with a good appetizer menu. Sadly, Jam has the service, the ambiance, but the food is awful! 2nd time there, had to give the food another try, but this time tasteless samosa's, and starchy noodles. Such a shame. Hire a better chef, and we'll be back!
