Exquisite,the appitizer alone was almost satisfying enough to be a meal. I have dined out west in some very swanky restuarants and this salad was the best I have ever tasted, the mixture of tangy cheese, sweet almonds, and warm veggie, not over powering but just right. The server was on par, I thouroughly enjoyed the cut of his jib, and it showed that he knew the menu and at least liked working there.
This is THE restaurant to visit in Peterborough! Their food is reasonably priced and is EXCELLENT, I have never had a bad experience! Their desserts are pure HEAVEN! Their beer menu is fills two pages of a menu and the wait staff are extremely knowlegeable on all of them. Easily my favourite restaurant.
this place is top notch before i moved here, i always got spoiled by my dad when we'd come up to visit him... well since moving here, it's always the place to go... We always say "ok lets try a new restaurant, but where do we end up everytime, ST Veronus, of course!. eitherjust having the smoked trout platter with a leffe and a wicked dirty caesar as we like to call it... or if it's a more formal outting and having something off the menu, it's purely superb! 1st class, and everyone should be checking this place out
This place is fantastic. The beers are great, and the food is even better. My friends and I thought it was a pub, but when we entered we found a pub with a fine dining flair, we weren't really expecting it but were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was really helpful and made it an overall pleasant experience! I will definately be returning!
This place is the real deal for down to earth good food and beer in Peterborough. If you like dark beers you must try the Leffe Brune. The specials really are something special here. They have recently made changes to the a la carte menu. The platter appetizers are wonderful too. Great food without the stuck up fine dining atmosphere makes for one hell of an awesome place to eat.
