We had fish and chips. Lovely waitress, very clean, excellent fish and I've NEVER had a better Caesar salad - loads of REAL bacon
I'd say i'm there almost every day. I've tried everything from breakfast to supper and i've never been disapointed. It a must go and try type of restaurant. (2 thumbs up)
I find the waitress wasn't very friendly and my sandwich was tasteless. The fries weren't very good either and I pretty much like frequenting restaurants that have homemade fresh fries. I don't know if I will go back...hopefully restaurants are gonna become aware of this site and clean up their act.
Where to start! This place needs help! They should really invest in some renos. The food is awful! My boyfriend nearly got sick from a sandwich! Dirty dirty dirty!!! The washroom.. oh my god gross The only good thing about this place is you get a mint to get the gross taste of their food out of your mouth and it's location. Will never go back. I always try to give this place a chance and have gone back several times. It never gets better.
This is a review for the Gonga's Grill in SouthEnd not the Brady one. The big man's breakfast was not so big after all, but that's not the problem. First of all, the waitress got us orange juice after 10 mins of us sitting there, then we waited another 15 and she did not even look at us. So we came up to her and told her what we wanted. Got out food after like another 20 mins when there were 5 people inside. A couple who came 10 mins after us got their food before us. So when the food finally arrived, the homefries seemed like they were sitting there for 10 mins, they were not even warm anymore. The sausage was good, but would still not go back there, at least not to the same location. When we asked for the bill, we waited for like another 10 mins and just decided to go up there ourselves and pay.
After waiting close to half of an hour for our food, I advised the waitress that the serving of homefries was extremely small, especially considering we have eaten at Gonga's many times and the servings are not even close to being that small. She said she would ask the cook about it, which she never to returned to let us know. To make things alot worse, the peameal bacon, the sausage and the eggs were stone cold (as if it had been in a fridge). We also mentioned this to the waitress and we were told "We weren't expecting to be this busy, there is nothing I can really do about it" She did offer the get another serving of peameal bacon, which, really, along with all the other food would have made no difference. Before paying for our order, I did ask to speak with the manager. The manager did not seem concerned at all with the problem I brought to her attention. To make matters worse, while another waitress overheard the our complaints, she went over to our waitress and both of them stood and stared and talked about us. In a service based day and age, this had to be bottome of the barrell service!!!
everything was perfect the waitresses where really nice, they served the food really fast and they came back tons of times.
gonga's is a good place to go eat after a night of partying. they have have a rock star table that can accomodate bands who eat on tour. good food, good service. classic sudbury
Gonga's is the best ever! My friends and I practically live there, the all day breakfast is great after a night of drinking!

This place was nasty there was dirt build up all over the place the waitress was very rude are food was cold and not once did the waitress come back to ask if we would like more coffee we had to go to her.I dont recomend this place to anyone.
No complaints about food, service, or price very good location. But this is Sudbury not London why do you have London restaurants located in our area close to gongas grill over site I am sure.
For the price you can't beat breakfast at Gonga's Grill on Regent St. The service was efficient (even when busy) and the portion size was just right. The tables are somewhat crampt and the place has a somewhat cafeteria-like feel to it but for an enjoyable no-frills, good value breakfast Gonga's is the place to go.
