Gotta love the pasta

There's 1 downside. We were outside since the weather was really nice. Since we had a large group a couple members of our group were stuck sitting in the Sun. It would've been nice if they made arrangements for them. On the positive side, the food was amazing. I normally get the pizza from there but today I decided to go with the pasta. This was the best decision because it was really amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant & you'll definitely get your money's worth.

Excellent all the way

Let me wipe the slate clean with the ultimate review on this fantastic establishment. We were two couples sitting near the entrance to the outside area and received fantastic service from a lovely young lady who had a terrific smile and beautiful shapely legs. She was evenly matched by the hostess. We ordered gourmet pizzas and red wine from Italy. Beautiful bellisimo. The atmosphere was beautiful and it made my night.

No wonder the rating to the right is so bad

Went here for lunch and it was packed and we had to wait. Good sign very good sign. We thought. The food was bad and the service was rude almost. People like this? the table is bare they don't even want to spend 2cents on pepper. It is not Italian it's just a name and people keep coming for some reason that can't be the food or service. Better options in the area.

Can't Beat the Pasta

Best pasta I've ever eaten. I've only eaten here once, about a year ago, and I still dream about it. It says right on the menu that they will not alter their dishes, so I didn't ask for any alterations ... I just looked for something where I knew I'd like ALL of the ingredients. I've heard horror stories about customers daring to ask for something to add to their dish - don't do it. If you simply have to alter everything you eat, this isn't the place for you. However, if you can eat things "their way" you will be rewarded with beautiful dishes that are so delicious.

Amazing food, Amazing Atmosphere, Snobby Hostesses and Waiters. There's a very noticeable sense that staff are "looking down their nose" at you from the moment you walk in the door. But as soon as you are seated at your table (45 mins later) the rustic Italian atmosphere fills your senses and makes for a pleasant experience. After you place your order, the food comes very quickly (less than 10 mins) and the portions are just right. If you finish whats on your plate it's just enough to fill you up without making you feel over-stuffed. The food itself is truly some of the best Italian pasta/pizza I've had. To Summarize; if you can get past the elitist personalities of the staff, you'll have a fantastic meal at a price that's easy to swallow.

This wildly successful Toronto pizzeria needs no introduction. Local foodies can’t get enough of the traditional southern Italian cuisine and impressive selection of pies. With over two-dozen varieties on the menu, this is a spot that requires multiple visits. Try the Quattro Stagioni for a wide variety or opt for the classic San Giorgio topped with tomato, mozzarella, hot calabrese salame and fresh mushrooms. Visit the Adelaide Street location housed in Toronto’s historic courthouse and marvel at the high ceilings and basement wine cellar where the expensive bottles are kept behind bars inside an old jail cell.

Pizza you can bank on in Toronto's Financial District

Pizza you can bank on in Toronto's Financial District

When atmosphere matters just as much as the quality of food, head east on Adelaide, a couple of blocks past Yonge, for a truly authentic southern Italian experience. The pizza shop is inside the remodeled Adelaide courthouse – one of the few historic buildings in Toronto that hasn’t been razed to make room for a condo. Once inside, dig into the San Nicola di Bari pizza and see how Italian tuna, red onion and capers create magic together.
