great food at resonable prices....they don't...

great food at resonable prices....they don't over-price the wines and the presentation is excellent we've eaten here several times since it opened in dec 2004 and have always enjoyed the experience very much...it is our first choice for dining in collingwood

This is a lovely restaurant. However, our food was cold, the vegetables soggy, and our server far from pleasant. This fine dining experience was not so fine.

This restaurant was recommended to us when we...

This restaurant was recommended to us when we moved to town. It was quite busy and while we had made a reservation, the hostess couldn't find us on the list. She sat us back in the bar although there were tables empty in the dining room. The service was VERY slow. When we mentioned that our dinners were cold our waitress just said sorry but we are busy....that was it. She was not at all friendly or helpful. We were served both rice and potatoes on our plates with very limp veggies. The desserts were fine. We did not really enjoy our evening out at this restaurant and will try other spots before we return. Cold food and a grumpy server are not something we would want to experience again. Since we left a very small tip they likely don't care if we return.
