My friend brought me to this shop a few months ago when we decided to go out for lunch. I had never tried bubble tea before and was a little hesitant, but when we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and the cute waitress seemed to enjoy helping me with the menu. They have more flavours than any bubble tea store i've been to since. They don't use chemicals in their drinks and have real fruit or alternative milk options. It's right by the university so it tends to get a little busy when classes are out, but they have board games and an outdoor bistro sitting area to keep you occupied while you wait. and its always worth the wait. The waitress even asked if i liked my drink and demanded that she would make a new kind if i wasn't enjoying the drink i chose. A totally awesome place, i would recommend to anyone in the area to check it out!
this place is so cute! and the friendly staff greets you with a smile. i love the bbt here (way better than the others). i had the taro milk tea with tapioca and my friend had the strawberry almond icy swirl. will be back again next week!
I've been going here for years. I've tried the other 2 Bubble Tea places in the same plaza and they don't even compare. The service is always fast/friendly and the bubble tea is really good. I have never had a meal there.
We went there to order a drink to go on a Saturday afternoon in October 2010. The person took the order quickly, we paid and she then told us to wait close to the door. After waiting for 25 minutes (while standing), we decided to take a seat. We waited for another 25 minutes. I got tired of waiting and went to the counter. They told me they just finished making it (after 50 minutes!) and gave it to me. As I was walking to the door, the Sweet Dreams worker who took our order chased after me and asked me if I paid in a disrespectful tone. She did not even apologize for the ridiculous waiting time. I will never go back to a place that does not treat customers with respect and dignity. It is their duty to have enough workers to provide a prompt and courteous service. No one should have to wait that long for a drink. In addition, their drinks are probably the worst I've ever tasted. Everything is made with chemical powders and not a hint of real fruit/real fruit juice/tea/milk is used. Overall: sub-par food and drinks, rude and slow staff, the place feels dirty and always has a weird smell, never going back.
This place has a great atmosphere and certainly know how to attract students. But in terms of the food and drinks, it definitely lack. Bubble tea is not authentic. Tapioca is not cooked well. The food is just average.
